This policy explains what TrustBazaar collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We are a marketplace: sellers supply the goods, and TrustBazaar sells them on to you and raises the invoice.

What we collect

  • Account details — name, email address, phone number and password.
  • Order details — what you bought, the delivery address, the amount, and the payment and delivery status.
  • Business details, if you sell or resell with us — legal name, address, GSTIN and PAN, which we need to raise a valid tax invoice.
  • Technical information — IP address, browser, device and pages visited, used to keep the site working and to detect fraud.

Why we use it

  • To take, pack, ship and support your order.
  • To raise tax invoices and meet our obligations under Indian tax law.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse of the marketplace.
  • To reply when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

Who we share it with

  • The seller supplying your item — only what is needed to pack and dispatch: delivery name, address, phone number and the items. They are not given your email address or your order history.
  • Delivery partners — the same delivery details, so the parcel reaches you.
  • Payment providers, where an online payment method is used.
  • Government authorities, where the law requires it.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember your cart, and to understand which pages are used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; sign-in and the cart will stop working if you do.

How long we keep it

Account and order records are kept while your account is open. Invoices and the records behind them are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires — currently eight financial years — so we cannot delete those earlier, even on request.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can withdraw consent for optional messages at any time. Write to us and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you do not reuse elsewhere.

Children

TrustBazaar is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
